RANCANG BANGUN AMMETER DC TIPE NON-DESTRUCTIVE BERBASIS MIKROKONTROLER ATMEGA8535 DENGAN SENSOR EFEK HALL ACS712

ABSTRAK
Telah dilakukan rancang-bangun sistem alat ammeter DC tipe non-destructive berbasis mikrokontroler ATmega8535 dengan sensor efek Hall ACS712. Ammeter DC tipe non-destructive ini dapat mengindera medan magnetik yang ditimbulkan oleh PCB dan kawat berarus listrik, tanpa harus memutus jalur konduktor yang akan diukur arusnya. Sensor yang digunakan memiliki sensitivitas sebesar 0,175 volt/ampere dan tegangan offset sebesar 2,482 V. Hasil penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa sensor efek Hall ACS712 lebih cocok digunakan untuk pengukuran arus tipe destructive, meskipun sensor ini dapat juga digunakan untuk pengukuran arus tipe non-destructive.

Abstract
A nondestructive dc ammeter based on microcontroller ATmega8535 using ACS712 effect Hall sensor has been designed. This ammeter can sense a magnetic field produced by a PCB and current carrying wire, without destructing or cutting-off the wire. The sensor used in this research has a sensitivity of 0,1759 volt/ampere, and an offset of 2.4825 V. The linear correlation coefficient of the destructive dc ammeter is better than of the non-destructive dc ammeter. It indicates that the Hall ACS712 sensor is more compatible for destructive dc ammeter.

7. Royalties
This agreement entitles the author to no royalties or other fees. To such extent as legally permissible, the author waives his or her right to collect royalties relative to the article in respect of any use of the article by JFU or its sublicensee.
8. Miscellaneous
JFU will publish the article (or have it published) in the journal if the articles editorial process is successfully completed and JFU or its sublicensee has become obligated to have the article published.
