Jurnal Fisika Unand (JFU) is dedicated to advancing the scientific understanding of both classical and modern physics. The journal aims to publish high-quality, original research that significantly contributes to the fields of theoretical and applied physics. Our primary focus is to provide a platform for innovative studies in nuclear and medical physics, materials science, biophysics, and advanced computational methods. By encouraging interdisciplinary approaches and cutting-edge research, JFU fosters scientific dialogue that can lead to meaningful advancements in the global physics community.
Scope
The scope of JFU spans a broad array of physics subfields, welcoming contributions in both theoretical and experimental research. We publish original research articles in areas including but not limited to:
- Nuclear and Medical Physics: reactor physics, neutron scattering, radioactive waste management, medical imaging, nuclear instrumentation, and biomedical engineering.
- Materials Physics: synthesis and characterization, nanomaterials, smart materials, photonics, biomaterials, solar cells, composites, and low-temperature physics.
- Electronics and Instrumentation: sensor systems, control systems, and advanced instrumentation for nuclear and medical applications.
- Theoretical and Computational Physics: particle physics, gravitation, cosmology, astrophysics, and non-linear physics.
- Earth and Atmospheric Physics: geophysics, meteorology, climatology, and environmental physics with a focus on disaster mitigation.
