Abstract
Preliminary study on the performance of a dual head Single Photon Emission Computed Tomographic (SPECT) gamma camera at PTKMR-BATAN has been examined by using medium energy radiation from Ra226. This research is conducted to test and analyze of dual head gamma camera model SPECT image using medium energy radiation source Ra226 and Medium Energy General Purpose (MEGP) collimator, without MEGP collimator, using linier and jazchazk phantom. It was found that the count rate for the measurement without any collimator was larger than with MEGP collimator. During counting when using linier and jazchazk phantom, it produces clear images and there is no distortion on gamma camera detector.
