Kajian Suseptibilitas Magnetik Tanah Sebagai Indikator Longsor di Gunung Nago, Padang

Telah dilakukan penelitian mengenai analisis nilai suseptibilitas magnetik tanah daerah potensi longsor di kawasan Gunung Nago. Sampel tanah diambil pada empat lintasan yaitu lintasan A, B, C dan D dengan jarak antar lintasan 5 m yang terdiri dari 10 titik sampel, sehingga membentuk grid yang terdiri dari 40 titik sampel untuk tiap kedalaman. Sampel diambil dengan variasi kedalaman 25, 50 dan 100 cm sehingga dihasilkan 120 sampel tanah. Pengukuran suseptibilitas magnetik menggunakan MS2B Bartington Susceptibility Meter dengan dua frekuensi, yaitu frekuensi rendah (0,47 kHz) dan frekuensi tinggi (4,7 kHz). Hasil pengukuran χFD (%) menunjukkan nilai berkisar antara 0,72% hingga 10,26%. Berdasarkan nilai suseptibilitas magnetik bergantung frekuensi χFD (%) lokasi penelitian memiliki kandungan bulir superparamagnetik yang rendah (kurang dari 10%) sehingga tanah daerah penelitian tersebut lebih kesulitan untuk menyerap air dan menjadikan area ini sulit terjadi longsor. Area kedalaman 25 cm memiliki nilai rata-rata χFD (%) sebesar 1,87% - 4,5% dan diperkirakan area kedalaman 25 cm memiliki kecenderungan rendah mengalami longsor. Sementara, area kedalaman 50 cm memiliki nilai rata-rata χFD (%) lebih rendah sebesar 1,64% - 5,19% dan diperkirakan kedalaman ini memiliki kecenderungan lebih rendah untuk terjadinya longsor.References
