Optimasi Filter Gelombang Mikro Berbasis Metamaterial Split Ring Resonators

Optimasi geometri metamaterial Split Ring Resonators (SRR) dilakukan dengan menvariasikan ukuran geometrinya sehingga dapat bekerja pada rentang frekuensi gelombang mikro dan dapat diaplikasi sebagai filter gelombang mikro. Variasi dilakukan terhadap ukuran jari-jari SRR (r), lebar celah SRR (g), dan lebar cincin SRR (c). Optimasi bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh variasi geometri metamaterial SRR terhadap bandwidth frekuensi, insertion loss dan frekuensi resonansi dari filter yang dihasilkan. Perancangan geometri SRR dan variasi geometri dilakukan secara numerik menggunakan software Comsol Multiphysics. Data bandwidth frekuensi, insertion loss dan frekuensi resonansi yang didapatkan dari Comsol Multiphysics diolah menggunakan Matlab. Luaran yang didapatkan dari Matlab adalah grafik yang menyatakan pengaruh variasi geometri metamaterial SRR terhadap bandwidth frekuensi, insertion loss dan frekuensi resonansi filter yang dihasilkan. Hasil yang didapatkan, semakin kecil lebar cincin maka semakin besar lebar bandwidth yang dihasilkan. Lebar celah cincin SRR tidak mempengaruhi bandwidth frekuensi. Semakin kecil jari-jari, lebar celah dan jarak pisah cincin luar dan cincin dalam maka insertion loss yang dihasilkan semakin kecil. Frekuensi resonansi yang didapatkan secara numerik lebih besar daripada frekuensi dengan perhitungan analitik. Perbedaan ini disebabkan karena posisi geometri SRR secara analitik berbeda dengan numerik.  Hasil optimal yang didapatkan dari optimasi ini adalah geometri dengan r = 6,5 mm, l = 0,75 mm, g = 2 mm yang memiliki bandwidth 690 MHz frekuensi dan insertion loss filter -4 dB.References

This agreement can be terminated by the author or JFU upon two months notice where the other party has materially breached this agreement and failed to remedy such breach within a month of being given the terminating partys notice requesting such breach to be remedied. No breach or violation of this agreement will cause this agreement or any license granted in it to terminate automatically or affect the definition of JFU.
7. Royalties
This agreement entitles the author to no royalties or other fees. To such extent as legally permissible, the author waives his or her right to collect royalties relative to the article in respect of any use of the article by JFU or its sublicensee.
8. Miscellaneous
JFU will publish the article (or have it published) in the journal if the articles editorial process is successfully completed and JFU or its sublicensee has become obligated to have the article published. JFU may conform the article to a style of punctuation, spelling, capitalization, referencing and usage that it deems appropriate. The author acknowledges that the article may be published so that it will be publicly accessible and such access will be free of charge for the readers.
