Aquaculture system design has been carried out on Chlorella vulgaris microalgae photobioreactors. The aquaculture system in photobioreactors is designed using different light sources namely sunlight, halogen lamp and blue LED. This aquaculture system contains 1040 mL of microalgae supplied with CO2 gas with a flow rate of 1.5 L/min. The system designed is equipped with a temperature control device using an LM35 sensor. The temperature in the system is maintained in the range (25-35)°C. The intensity of the light in the halogen lamp is varied, namely 1000 Lux, 3000 Lux and 5000 Lux. The designed aquaculture system can increase dissolved oxygen levels obtained 7.8 mg/L produced from the aquaculture system photobioreactor with a source of sunlight at 13.30 WIB. At artificial light sources, the highest dissolved oxygen levels were obtained at 7.7 mg/L at 07.30 WIB when it was illuminated by a 5000 Lux halogen lamp.
