Rancang Bangun Sistem Absensi Berbasis RFID Terkoneksi Website Menggunakan Bahasa Pemrograman PHP dan MySQL

Rancang bangun sistem absensi berbasis RFID terkoneksi website telah selesai dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sistem yang dapat membantu proses absensi perkuliahan secara komputerisasi meskipun dalam kondisi pemadaman listrik. Pengidentifikasi data mahasiswa menggunakan RFID tag berbentuk kartu dan pengidentifikasi data dosen menggunakan RFID tag berbentuk gantungan kunci. Baterai 9 volt digunakan sebagai sumber listrik cadangan bagi alat pembaca. Sistem juga menggunakan sever lokal sebagai media penyimpanan data absensi sementara. Data berupa kode UID dari RFID tag telah berhasil terkirim ke server lokal. Kode ini digunakan untuk mencari data pengguna di dalam basis data. Jika kode tersebut milik mahasiswa, maka data pengguna dikirim ke tabel absensi harian pada basis data. Namun jika kode tersebut milik dosen, maka dilakukan perekapan data absensi. Sistem ini juga telah didukung oleh fasilitas untuk menyimpan data mahasiswa yang berhalangan hadir karena izin atau sakit. Berdasarkan pengujian RFID tag, dapat diketahui bahwa RFID tag tidak terbaca jika terdapat RFID tag lain pada jarak maksimal 3 cm. Kesimpulan yang didapatkan adalah penggunaan baterai dan server lokal sangat membantu sehingga sistem absensi ini tetap dapat dijalankan dalam kondisi pemadaman listrik.

The prototype of an attendance system based RFID connected to the website has been conducted. This study aims to build a system that can help in the process of taking a computerized lecture attendance even in conditions of a power outage. Students data identifier uses a card shaped RFID tag and lecturer data identifier uses a key chain shaped RFID tag. Battery of 9 volt is used as a backup power source for card readers. This system uses a local server as a temporary media attendance data storage before the data is uploaded to the internet server. Data in the form of UID code from the RFID tag has been successfully sent to the local server. This code is used to find user data in the database. If the code is a student code, then the student data is sent to the daily attendance table in the database. If the code is a lecturer code, attendance data is recorded. This system has also been supported by a facility to store data of students unable to attend due to permission or illness. Based on RFID tag testing, it can be seen that RFID tags cannot be read if there are other RFID tags at a maximum distance of 3 cm. The conclusion was that the useage of battery and local server was very helpful so that the attendance system could still be used even in power outage.

7. Royalties
This agreement entitles the author to no royalties or other fees. To such extent as legally permissible, the author waives his or her right to collect royalties relative to the article in respect of any use of the article by JFU or its sublicensee.
8. Miscellaneous
JFU will publish the article (or have it published) in the journal if the articles editorial process is successfully completed and JFU or its sublicensee has become obligated to have the article published. JFU may conform the article to a style of punctuation, spelling, capitalization, referencing and usage that it deems appropriate.
