The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of variations of coconut shell, bagasse, and epoxy resin adhesives on the physical and mechanical properties of particle boards. The particle size used is coconut shell that pass 100 mesh and bagasse that pass 50 mesh. The filler microparticles which procured subsequently separated to five compositions within specified volumetric percentage ratio (coconut shell:bagasse) namely 30:60, 40:45, 50:30, 60:15, and 70:0. The epoxy resin content is 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, and 30%. The result of physical characteristics show that the lowest density is 0.90 g/cm3 on ratio 30:60 while the highest density is 1.01 g/cm3 on ratio 70:0. The water content has showed that the lowest is 0.89% on ratio 70:0 while the highest water content is 1.99% on ratio 30:60. The lowest water absorption is 15.51% on ratio 70:0 while the highest water absorption is 37.61% on ratio 30:60. The result of mechanical characteristics that shown the lowest MOE value is 526.16 kg/cm2 on ratio 30:60 while the highest value is 817.33 kg/cm2 on ratio 70:0. The lowest MOR value is 28.35 kg/cm2 on ratio 30:60 while the highest MOR value is 101.43 kg/cm2 on ratio 70:0. The physical and mechanical properties of the particle board obtained in the test have met the SNI 03-2105-2006 quality standards except density, MOR and MOE.
