The bag safety device based on Arduino Uno have been designed using SW-420 vibration sensor and LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) with via SMS notification. This tool serves to minimize the occurrence of acts of theft on the bag caused by negligence of the owner who often leaves his bag somewhere.  Bag conditions are expressed in two state variables namely vibration and light. The  tool is designed using two sensors namely vibrating sensor and LDR, Arduino Uno component which functions as the main processor of the system, and SIM800L module which is used to facilitate the transmission of information to the user’s cellphone. The test results show that the system functions according to the design goals. SW-420 sensor detecs vibration with a pulse width threshold value of 1799 μs, then SIM800L send an SMS “Tas tidak amanâ€. The LDR sensor detecs light with an ADC decimal threshold value of 14, then SIM800L sends an SMS “Tas dibukaâ€. Sending SMS notifications accompanied by miscall for 17 seconds. The success rate of the tool is 80% from ten times the experiments conducted.
