Microalgae photobioreactor cell installation designs out to reduce CO2 emissions in the car's air circulation system using fluorescent light and Blue LEDs source have been conducted. The system is equipped with temperature control using an LM35 sensor. Photobioreactors contain 1080 ml of Chlorella vulgaris microalgae. Temperature control successfully maintains temperatures at 25 oC – 35 oC. The measurement results showed the initial concentration of O2 before placing the photobioreactor cell in the car by 20.4%. The maximum concentration of O2 after the installation of a photobioreactor cell using a fluorescent light source is 21.0% and with a Blue LED light source of 20.9% in the 40th minute. The results of this study indicate that photobioreactors using a fluorescent light source produce higher O2 concentration compared to Blue LED light sources. These results indicate reduced CO2 emissions in cars, which have been used by microalgae in the process of photosynthesis to produce O2.
