Thin opal films have been synthesized using horizontal deposition method modified applying the addition at frequency vibration. Synthesizing was carried out with at room temperature with frequency vibration of 75, 200, 300, and 400 Hz. Characterization was carried of using optical microscope, SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy) and UV-Vis Spectrophotometer. Characterization with optical microscope shows that small frequency vibration thickner homogenity of opal sample. SEM show that multilayer layer is all sample deposition with frequency vibration 75 Hz, 200 Hz, 300 Hz and 400 Hz. The UV-Vis spectra show that the highest maximum absorbance of 0,2 at wavelength of 588 nm for frequency vibration of 75 Hz. The higher the vibration speed used, the smaller the maximum absorbance value and the smaller the FWHM value.
