PEMBUATAN DAN KARAKTERISASI LVDT SEBAGAI SENSOR JARAK

Telah dilakukan pembuatan dan karakterisasi LVDT (linear variable differential transformer) sebagai sensor jarak. Sensor dibuat sebanyak tiga buah dengan memvariasikan diameter kumparan, panjang inti besi, dan jumlah lilitan. Karakterisasi meliputi hysteresis, repeatability, sensitivitas, dan rentang pengukuran yang dapat dilakukan sensor. Caranya adalah dengan melihat perubahan tegangan keluaran yang dihasilkan pada kumparan sekunder akibat perubahan jarak inti besi terhadap titik acuan. LVDT ini dapat digunakan untuk mengidera perubahan jarak suatu obyek dalam arah linier (searah sumbu kumparan). Derajat korelasi linier (R2) yang bervariasi dari 0,983 hingga 0,9961 pada diameter kumparan yang sama, LVDT dengan inti besi yang lebih panjang memiliki sensitivitas yang lebih tinggi dan lebar rentang pengukuran yang lebih panjang dibandingkan dengan LVDT dengan inti besi yang lebih pendek. LVDT dengan diameter kumparan yang lebih besar akan lebih sensitif jika menggunakan inti besi yang lebih pendek; sedangkan  LVDT dengan diameter kumparan yang lebih kecil akan lebih sensitif jika menggunakan inti besi yang lebih panjang. Sensitivitas terbesar yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini adalah 0,01609 V/mm untuk LVDT yang jumlah lilitan primernya 224 lilitan, jumlah masing-masing lilitan sekundernya 380 lilitan, diameter kumparannya 1,7 cm, dan panjang inti besinya 30 cm, dengan rentang pengukuran 0 - 90 mm. Hysteresis dan repeatability sensor LVDT yang menggunakan inti besi dengan panjang 30 cm lebih baik dibandingkan dengan yang menggunakan inti besi 6,7 cm.Downloads

This agreement can be terminated by the author or JFU upon two months notice where the other party has materially breached this agreement and failed to remedy such breach within a month of being given the terminating partys notice requesting such breach to be remedied. No breach or violation of this agreement will cause this agreement or any license granted in it to terminate automatically or affect the definition of JFU.
7. Royalties
This agreement entitles the author to no royalties or other fees. To such extent as legally permissible, the author waives his or her right to collect royalties relative to the article in respect of any use of the article by JFU or its sublicensee.
8. Miscellaneous
JFU will publish the article (or have it published) in the journal if the articles editorial process is successfully completed and JFU or its sublicensee has become obligated to have the article published. JFU may conform the article to a style of punctuation, spelling, capitalization, referencing and usage that it deems appropriate. The author acknowledges that the article may be published so that it will be publicly accessible and such access will be free of charge for the readers.
