RANCANG BANGUN ALAT PEMBANGKIT ARUS PULSA BERBASIS MIKROKONTROLER ATMEGA8535 UNTUK PROSES ELEKTRODEPOSISI

Abstract


ABSTRAK

Telah dilakukan rancang-bangun alat pembangkit arus pulsa berbasis mikrokontroler ATmega8535 untuk proses elektrodeposisi. Alat ini dapat membangkitkan arus pulsa dengan rentang waktu on dan off selama 1 ms (satu milidetik). Pada sistem elektrodeposisi yang diuji dengan menggunakan tegangan catu 5 V, resistor (10 Ω, 50 Ω, dan 100 Ω), dan larutan CuSO4 dapat diperoleh rentang nilai arus yang mengalir antara 0,76 mA (minimum) dan 1,32 mA (maksimum). Penambahan program untuk menampilkan tegangan terminal pada LCD menyebabkan nilai Ton yang terbaca pada osiloskop menyimpang (error)  sebesar 21 ms cukup signifikan dan bersifat sistematik.

Abstract

A design of pulse current generator device based on microcontroller ATmega8535 for electro-deposition process has been conducted. The device can generate pulse current with the on and off periods as long as 1 ms (one millisecond) each. At the system of electrodeposition with using a power supply of 5 V, resistors (10 Ω, 50 Ω, and 100 Ω), and  a CuSO4 solution, then the current flowing in the electro-deposition system is between 0.76 mA (minimum) and 1.32 mA (maximum). The program added to display terminal voltage of the power supply on LCD causes the value of Ton read on the oscilloscope to become error as big as 21 ms (twenty millisecond) significantly and systematically.
