Abstract
The automation system in filling and calculating the amount of bottle in drinking water refill depot  has been designed based microcontroller ATmega8535. This control system will work when there is a place refill drinking water under the filling valve and will automatically stop charging when the water is full. The control system will also calculate the amount of charge that has been done per day as shown in LCD. The existence of drinking water refill is detected by an adjustable infrared sensor (E18 - D80NK) and the water flow sensor ( YF - S201 ) to adjust of the water volume level during charging. Adjustable infrared sensor has a detection distance of 3-80 cm. Water flow sensor emits digital pulses proportional to the volume of water passing through it. The number of digital pulses for 1 liter of water as much as 484.Water flow sensor will send a signal to the microcontroller to turn off the tap when electrically predetermined volume of water is reached. The setting of the volume of water have been done in the program based on water flow sensor characterization data. Relay is used to turn on and turn off the electric valve.                                                     Â
